Former Blossom Road Pub will become a soccer bar with a new name
Dan Zambito and John Bourgeois enjoy hanging out, going out for drinks and watching soccer games. Now they are teaming up to open a soccer bar in the former home to Blossom Road Pub, which closed at the corner of North Winton and Blossom Roads in the North Winton Village last year. Man killed in hit-and-run on Route 390 in Gates identified
Monroe County sheriff's deputies have identified the man killed late Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash on Route 390 in Gates. Daniel Burke, 63, of Rochester was pronounced dead at the scene, on the northbound lanes of Route 390, just north of Exit 21 at Lyell Avenue, said sheriff's spokeswoman Amy Young. The crash occurred just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
