Woman hit by fleeing car after apparent shots fired in Clairton
CLAIRTON, Pa. (KDKA) - A woman is recovering in the hospital after she was hit by a vehicle early on Saturday morning in the City of Clairton. According to Allegheny County Police, 911 dispatch was called about possible shots fired at the intersection of 3rd Street and Waddell Avenue. County police along with multiple other departments were called to the scene and found a large crowd. While they did not find anyone shot, they found a woman who had been hit by a vehicle. She was taken to the hospital via an ambulance and is in stable condition. Early investigation shows that shots were fired and a vehicle fleeing the scene hit the woman and left her at the scene. County police do not believe anyone was shot. Anyone with information is being asked to call the Allegheny County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A person is accused of attacking a group of Jewish students with a bottle on the University of Pittsburgh's campus on Friday.In a statement, Pitt spokesperson Jared Stonesifer said a person with no known affiliate to the university was arrested in connection with the incident. Two students were treated at the scene after the attack near the Cathedral of Learning, according to the statement. Man charged with homicide in shooting death of 20-year-old in Uniontown
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A man is facing a list of charges, including criminal homicide, in connection with the shooting death of a 20-year-old man in Fayette County in March. In a news release on Friday, the Uniontown Police Department said Davon Hunter, 32, was arrested and charged in the deadly shooting of 20-year-old Jacob Wilson-Forcina in Uniontown. Wilson-Forcina was shot at a home on Murray Avenue during a gathering with other young people on March 26."From what I understand, it was some type of neighbor dispute or an argument ensued," Uniontown Police Lt. Tom Kolencik told KDKA-TV in March.Wilson-Forcina was one of six children and just a few days away from graduating high school when he was shot and killed.In Friday's news release, police said their investigation identified Hunter as a suspect in the case. Hunter is in the Fayette County Jail.
