Arcata is Getting a New Shawarma Spot Soon

A new business called Shawarma Chalet is on its way to opening later this month in Sunny Brae . This news was first seen in Mad Union River . The new business will take over the former La Trattoria and Crocodile Café location at 30 Sunnybrae Center .

State registration information suggests that Shawarma Chalet is owned by Rogelio Luna , who also owns local repairing business called Luna Tooling & Repair . Luna is currently hiring for all positions on Craigslist for Shawarma Chalet as he gets closer to opening. The new restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a grab-and-go Mediterranean menu. According to business records, Shawarma Chalet will have a sit-down area and a to-go counter.

Shawarma Chalet will join existing eateries and cafes in the center, including Coffee Break Drive Thru & Cafe and El Chipotle Mexican & American Food . What Now Sacramento reached out to Luna but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
