Newberg Youth Basketball offering fall clinic series
Newberg Youth Basketball is putting on a fall clinic series to help young athletes prepare for the winter basketball season. The clinic is offered to boys and girls grades 4th-8th and costs $25 per player. The sessions will run through September and the first week of October, hosted at Newberg High School. The clinic dates are Sept. 8, Sept. 15, Sept. 22, Sept. 29 and Oct. 6. Boys and girls grades 4th-6th will participate from 4-5:30 p.m. while boys and girls grades 7th-8th follow from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Each clinic will feature 45 minutes of skill development and 45 minutes of 3-on-3 basketball played according to FIBA rules.
