Warrant Issued for Bloomsburg Man After High-Speed Motorcycle Chase through Schuylkill and Columbia Counties
A warrant has been issued for a Bloomsburg man who led State Police on a motorcycle pursuit through Schuylkill and Columbia Counties on Wednesday morning. According to court papers filed by State Police Sgt. Thomas Hornung, Nathan Hays, 42, of Bloomsburg, faces 78 charges following the pursuit that began in Ashland. The charges include fleeing or attempting to elude police and numerous traffic violations.
Special traffic patterns announced for NASCAR at Pocono Raceway

Williamsport man caught trading cocaine for guns with undercover detective
Williamsport, Pa. — A Lock Haven man was busted attempting to exchange three eight-balls of cocaine for a gun with an undercover detective. Stacy Fernelle Henry, 49, initially agreed to trade 25 grams of cocaine and 14 grams of methamphetamine for two guns on June 25, Lycoming County Detectives said. Pa. Supreme Court clears way for new trial against former Philly detective
A former Philadelphia police detective may soon return to court over the assault charges which led to his termination. Robert Redanauer was acquitted in 2021 on charges stemming from an off-duty incident in which he allegedly threatened two people with a gun. But on Monday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court sent the case back to Court of Common Pleas. Prosecutors must now determine if there is enough evidence to go to trial.
