HOUSTON — The Houston Health Department is giving away some free portable air conditioners to seniors, people with disabilities and caregivers of disabled children. Motorcyclist dies in crash on Blalock Road
HOUSTON, Texas — A 29-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Blalock Road Saturday evening, according to Houston police. The man, whose identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was riding a red Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle northbound when he lost control and struck the curb of a center median. The motorcycle landed on the grassy area of the median, and Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department.
