STORM POTENTIAL: Timing Out Storms The Next 2 Days...
We've been roasting! After spending the last 5 days in the 90's, I bet most of us are begging for rain and storms to cool things down. Our first opportunity arrives Tuesday morning as a complex of storms moves in from the north. On a positive note, these will be in a weakening phase which takes away the severe potential. However, it's not a guarantee that all of us see rain since computer models don't handle the timing or end point very well. Take a look at the future radar images below with caution because it may be a bit generous. If this scenario does play out, it shows storms in Indiana around 7 am, Louisville at 9 am, and Kentucky at 11 am.
