$100,000 bond set for man accused of kidnapping child, carjacking on Sherman Minton Bridge
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A Louisville man was arrested Saturday after a kidnapping incident turned into a police chase between Indiana and Kentucky. Louisville Metro police said Saturday afternoon, Alexander Mask, 19, had refused to give back his girlfriend’s son, leading police and family members on a chase throughout the city. Eventually, Mask dropped the child with one of the family members and continued to flee.

Temperatures set to dip following storms on Wednesday
Although the week started with a heat advisory, the above average temperatures and humidity are set to dip by Wednesday as thunderstorms roll through. Meteorologist Chris Noles with the National Weather Service in Paducah says, much of the region is under a heat advisory through Tuesday until stormy weather hits the area on Wednesday resulting in lower temperatures.
