Special Olympics Indiana urgently needs more coaches to support their expanding roster of athletes. Humans have a fundamental need to be around other humans. As a child, I don't think there was any greater emotional pain than being excluded from an activity or game with peers. It's a sting that lingers, and one that can really ding your self-worth. Inclusion matters, as highlighted in the Special Olympics mission statement. The organization has been empowering athletes for decades, specifically those with intellectual disabilities. However, to do that, they need community support and, of course, athletic coaches.

WCHS Students Achieve Top Honors At NCF Envirothon In N.Y.
Five Warsaw Community High School (WCHS) students had the opportunity to compete at the NCF Envirothon competition in Geneva, N.Y. The Envirothon is a competition focused on environmental and natural resource conservation problem-solving, where students develop solutions to both local and global environmental issues.
