ARGOS - The Argos girls soccer team took it to the limit but Westview was just one kick better taking a round one regional win at Eugene Snyder Field. The game went all the way to penalty kicks to get a decision and the Warriors hit their five, Argos had one kick just over the crossbar, the difference in the game literally just a few feet. Argos Town Council Discusses Deed Concerning Police Building, Resolution for INDOT Purchase of Town Property

The Argos Town Council members approved action last week that would change the deed of the Police Department building. Town Attorney Derek Jones explained to the council in a previous meeting that the property is deeded in the name of the Argos Emergency Services Building Corporation which was administratively dissolved in 1993. Jones said he prepared a deed that transfers that property from the corporation to the Town of Argos. Read more
