Southeast Technical College is two-thirds of the way through its three-year strategic plan, and has a couple more goals to meet by next year.

New STC President Cory Clasemann said with the conclusion of one academic year and the beginning of another, it was important to update its governing board on where STC stands with the plan and all the hard work done for the last year. Clasemann started last month.

Jackie Pommer, institutional effectiveness director for STC, presented the update to the Sioux Falls school board Wednesday afternoon. The update showed how each goal is progressing, calculated by looking at the tactics under each goal and averaging them, which is subjective, she said.
