UPDATE: Students dismissed after 2nd bomb threat at Fargo South High School
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Fargo South High School was evacuated for the second time this week after another bomb threat. A message was sent to inform parents, and they were being asked not to come to the school until law enforcement could investigate. School officials say they implemented safety procedures immediately and evacuated the school.

Equipment breakdown delays downtown asphalt project
(FARGO) – The City of Fargo’s Engineering Department announces that a contractor will be completing an asphalt overlay on 4th Street North, from 1st Avenue North to the railroad tracks near 5th Avenue North. The work will begin on Wednesday, September 4, and is expected to be finished by the end of the day on Thursday, September 5. The project will be completed in two phases:

Renovation of City Hall moves forward
As the remnants of the Center Mall disappear at its feet, Moorhead’s City Hall renovation is moving forward. At its Monday meeting, the City Council took two steps in that direction. First, the board approved hiring McGough Construction as the CMAR – “construction manager at risk” – to oversee remodeling of the 50-year-old building often referred to as the “sugar cube” in downtown Moorhead.
