Some changes in our weather pattern this weekend
SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - High pressure will move right over the top of central Florida as a front moves into N. Florida. This high pressure system will mean very light winds throughout the day which will allow a sea breeze or west wind to develop in the early afternoon. This along with some additional moisture will bring showers and thunderstorms once again to the area. Now the rain chance is at 50%, meaning not everyone is going to see these pop-up storms during the mid afternoon through the early evening.

Tampa Police Officer Relieved of Duty Following Arrest in Central Florida
An officer of the Tampa Police Department has been placed on administrative leave following an arrest for Battery Domestic Violence in Central Florida. Cornelius Young was arrested this month in an off-duty incident at Cortaro Drive in Sun City, following a reported verbal argument with an adult female victim known to him that turned physical. According to law enforcement, the victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation.
