University of Arizona junior Paris Hayes voted early Thursday at the student union voting center on campus, which was opened a week early by the Pima County Recorder’s Office.

Advance voting is available in-person through Friday, Nov. 1. The last day to request a mail-in ballot is today, Oct. 25. The last day to mail a ballot back is Oct. 29.

Hayes said her friends are more politically engaged this year but she still feels like an outlier as a super-informed political science major. She said she appreciated the student union location because she doesn’t have a car, which makes it difficult to reach other voting centers.
