OneAZ Community Foundation Welcomes Applications for 2024 Community Impact Grants

OneAZ Credit Union and the OneAZ Community Foundation are opening the 2024 Community Impact Grant Process.

This year, OneAZ is proud to empower the Arizona nonprofit sector like never before, offering a total of $190,000 in grants. They are looking for 38 nonprofit organizations dedicated to inspiring dreams and fueling prosperity across the state, according to a press release.

“The Community Impact Grant isn’t just a program – it’s a movement. At OneAZ, we’re committed to igniting significant, transformative change in the communities we cherish. These grants are designed to propel forward-thinking organizations that are not only envisioning but actualizing a thriving future for Arizona,” OneAZ Community Foundation President and OneAZ President & CEO Brandon Michaels said in the release.

Grant applications are due by May 24, 2024.

To be eligible to receive a grant, nonprofits must be registered as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with programs that resonate with one of the Foundation’s new, updated pillars of support:

• Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship: championing financial independence through initiatives in financial literacy, entrepreneurship and inclusive economic practices.
• Community Vitality: enhancing community well-being and cultural richness through access to essential services and programs that foster unity and cultural engagement.
• Developing Future Leaders: shaping tomorrow’s leaders today through civic engagement, mentorship and comprehensive professional development.

These transformative efforts are made possible largely through the support of OneAZ members. Every time a member uses their debit card, OneAZ contributes one cent to the OneAZ Community Foundation. Thanks to this innovative program as well as additional donations, OneAZ has invested more than $1.6 million in Arizona’s nonprofit community since 2016.
