Trump Totally Shafts a GOP House Candidate He’d Previously Backed — Gives ‘Complete and Total Endorsement’ to Both Him AND His Rival

Former President Donald Trump completely reneged on his prior endorsement of a GOP House candidate in Arizona — now giving his “complete and total” backing to both the original choice and his opponent.

In a post late Saturday night to his Truth Social platform , the former president made an 11th hour reversal on his position in the House race featuring bitter rivals Abe Hamadeh and Blake Masters — who will square off in a primary on Tuesday. After previously having supported Hamadeh, Trump hedged his bet by praising both men as “spectacular America First Candidates.”

“Blake Masters is a very successful businessman, and an incredibly strong supporter of our Movement to Make America Great Again – He is smart and tough!” Trump wrote. “Likewise, Abe Hamadeh, a Veteran, former prosecutor, and fearless fighter for Election Integrity, has been with me all the way!”

He added, “They will both be spectacular, and I’m pleased to announce that both Blake Masters and Abe Hamadeh have my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Congressman of Arizona’s 8th Congressional District — THEY WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!”

Back in December, Trump made clear he backed only Hamadeh .

“I am giving Abe Hamadeh my Complete and Total Endorsement in his quest to be the Congressman from District 8 — representing the great state of Arizona,” Trump wrote on Truth Social in December. He will never let you down!”

Now, Hamadeh has to share Trump’s “total” endorsement with Masters — in what has been a bitter race. In late May, texts emerged showing Hamadeh confiding in his one-time ally Masters, in which Hamadeh called election deniers “crazies.”
