The park is expected to reopen mid-day on July 29th. Heavy rain in Sevier County Tennessee has forced the temporary closure of Dolly Parton’s Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. On Sunday (July 28th), over four inches of rain fell in the area, causing McCarter Hollow Road at Dollywood’s entrance to collapse. A portion of the park and its parking lots have also flooded, forcing guests to wade through waist-high water.
