Corsica Wine Bar set to open next year in Reston

Reston Town Center will welcome Corsica Wine Bar in 2025.

A company spokesperson confirmed the expected timing of the restaurant’s opening. Corsica, a sister concept of Barcelona Wine Bar, will replace French restaurant Mon Ami Gabi at 11950 Democracy Drive, Suite 120.

Corsica Wine Bar, which opened its first location in Colorado this spring, will offer small plates and appetizers from Corsica, an island off the French and Italian coasts whose cuisine also reflects Spain’s influence. The drink menu includes extensive wine and cocktail lists as well as beer and apéritifs.

Plans submitted to Fairfax County show two outdoor patio seating areas that wrap around the 6,802-square-foot suite. Indoor seating includes a 22-seat bar, a 34-seat private dining area, and 78 seats throughout the rest of the space.

The Corsica spokesperson told FFXnow that no other details are available about the opening.

A representative for BXP, which owns the town center, previously suggested the restaurant would open in the middle of next year, along with the fashion boutique Evereve, which is taking over a vacant space at 11928 Market Street.

Shake Shack is also expected to open a location in the town center next year, replacing The Counter at 11922 Democracy Drive.

Barcelona Wine Bar can currently be found in Reston Town Center at 12023 Town Square Street, where it has operated since 2015 .
