On Thursday, August 28, 2024, at 9:11 p.m., Joliet Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Western Avenue for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, Officers learned that a shooting had just taken place near the parking lot of the Western Food Mart (Cuddy Store – 308 Western Avenue).
