The United Football League had its annual rookie draft on Wednesday, and a lot of local talent was scooped up in advance of the 2024 season. The UFL franchises had the ability on Wednesday to take NFL players who weren't drafted this season but are currently with teams this offseason.
Good News: Town of Bryant stepping up to improve park
Big things are happening in the small Hamlin County town of Bryant, South Dakota. A campaign to significantly upgrade the town’s park already has raised $200,000 for new playground equipment. The equipment has been ordered and will be installed as soon as it arrives, perhaps within the next month. Much of the installation work will be done by community volunteers.
