Branching out to help clean up
Some members of the West Whitlock State Recreation Area staff helped with cleanup in Pierre on Monday. The Oahe Downstream area was hit hard during a storm over the weekend, that knocked down trees and branches, and also did damage to area businesses. The members of Gettysburg’s river staff from the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks chipped in to help at the park near Pierre, while others stayed back to tend to the park at the bay west of Gettysburg.
