    Several restaurants issued follow-ups, three fail in latest Arlington health inspections

    Twenty restaurants had follow-up inspections and three failed in the latest Arlington health inspections, according to city data.

    There were 122 inspections from June 9-22.

    Arlington inspections are based on a 100-point system. A score of 100 is perfect and a score of 70 is considered to be extremely poor.

    No restaurants were closed, but three failed:

    • Andalous at 457 E. Interstate 20, 56
    • Pho 18 at 2216 New York Ave., 67
    • Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen at 4830 Little Road, 68

    Two other restaurants received scores below 75:

    • Desi Adda Kafe at 604 Doug Russell Road, 71
    • Splendid China at 5975 South Cooper St. 73

    Twenty restaurants had one or more follow-up inspections:

    • Golden Chinese BBQ at 1818 East Pioneer Parkway, 80
    • Taco Bueno at 1419 North Collins St., 92
    • Sonic Drive In at 5501 South Cooper St., 96
    • Break Time at 4331 Kelly Elliott Road
    • China King Super Buffet at 4515 Matlock Road
    • Daye Inc DBA King Buffet at 300 East Interstate 20
    • Famous Cajun Grill at 3811 South Cooper St.
    • Import Food Market at 701 East Pioneer Parkway
    • La Michoacana at 701 East Pioneer Parkway
    • McDonalds at 4841 West Sublett Road
    • Pho Pasteur Restaurant at 3330 Matlock Road
    • Tacon Ganas Express at 4331 Kelly Elliott Road
    • Desi Adda Kafe at 604 Doug Russell Road, 71
    • Splendid China at 5975 South Cooper St., 73
    • Dickey’s Barbecue Pit at 5530 South Cooper St.reet, 77
    • J Gilligan’s at 407 East South St., 86
    • McAlister’s Deli at 137 Merchants Row, 89
    • La Madeleine French Bakery 4201 South Cooper St., 90
    • Chipotle Mexican Grill at 4401 Little Road, 94
    • Canteen Avenue C at 3301 Matlock Road, 98

    Here are the inspection scores and violations for restaurants within the city limits of Arlington for June 9th - June 22, 2024. A score of 100 is a perfect score and 70 is considered to be extremely poor. Reinspections will be conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less. If serious health and sanitation violations are considered an imminent health hazard, the restaurant will be closed until the identified health hazard has been mitigated.
