Arlington Police Department honors fallen officers in Run for the Blue 5K
ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington Police Department employees participated in the Run for the Blue 5K in Dallas this morning to honor fallen officers. The annual event was started in memory of the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) officers who were killed and injured during the tragedy on July 7, 2016. The run raises money for fallen and injured officers and their families, according to the Arlington Police Department.

Two suspects arrested after vehicle chase from Fort Worth to White Settlement
WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — Two suspects were taken into custody after a vehicle theft in Fort Worth led to a chase that ended in White Settlement. Officer Conley located the stolen car, prompting the suspects to flee, according to a press release from the White Settlement Police Department. The Fort Worth Police Department assisted with the chase once the vehicle left White Settlement. The suspect vehicle then re-entered White Settlement, where the suspects bailed out at the intersection of White Settlement Road and Lockwood.
