An endangered species is slowly working its way back from the edge of extinction in the woods of Central Texas. Four families of red cockaded woodpeckers have laid successful broods in the W.D. Two suspects arrested after vehicle chase from Fort Worth to White Settlement
WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — Two suspects were taken into custody after a vehicle theft in Fort Worth led to a chase that ended in White Settlement. Officer Conley located the stolen car, prompting the suspects to flee, according to a press release from the White Settlement Police Department. The Fort Worth Police Department assisted with the chase once the vehicle left White Settlement. The suspect vehicle then re-entered White Settlement, where the suspects bailed out at the intersection of White Settlement Road and Lockwood.
