KITTANNING MAN GUILTY IN DRUG OVERDOSE CASE
The State Attorney General’s Office announced that a Kittanning man was convicted of third-degree murder and other crimes related to a drug overdose death in 2020. 41-year-old Nathan Wolfe was also convicted of drug delivery resulting in death, aggravated assault, involuntary manslaughter, delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility for the death of 43-year-old Eric McMillen on February 5th of 2020. The Attorney General’s office submitted testimony that Wolfe provided crack cocaine laced with fentanyl to McMillen and his girlfriend in exchange for Wolfe’s use of McMillen’s vehicle at a grocery store parking lot. The case was investigated and charges were filed by the Armstrong County DA’s office. DA Kate Charlton said that the case will “send a message to those dealing drugs in Armstrong County that such conduct will not be tolerated.”

SUSPECT IN FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH PLEADS GUILTY IN ARMSTRONG COUNTY COURT
A Pittsburgh man entered guilty pleas in Armstrong County court on Wednesday in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash in 2022 that killed two people from Indiana County. Court documents show Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to two counts of homicide by vehicle, while other charges, including two counts each of accidents involving death or injury and aggravated assault by vehicle, and a single summary traffic count were not prosecuted. Police say that on July 3rd of 2022, Flynn was behind the wheel of an SUV that collided with a motorcycle driven by 58-year-old Anthony Stasko on Route 56 at Balsiger Road in Kiski Township. His wife, Kim, was riding with him at the time. State police filed charges over a year after the accident happened after conducting a lengthy and thorough investigation. Flynn was also arrested a year after the crash when he was involved in a rear-end collision in Allegheny County.
