BRUSH FIRE, OTHER INCIDENTS REPORTED BY INDIANA COUNTY 911 ON SUNDAY
After a busy day on Saturday, first responders had a relatively calm day on Sunday. Indiana County 911 reported a brush fire at 3:51 PM along Anderson Creek Road, northwest of Rural Valley in Armstrong County. Plumville fire department and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched by Armstrong County 911 to assist at the scene. This marks the 41st brush fire call this year reported by Indiana County 911. No word yet on how the fire started or how much damage was done.

The Butler Pony baseball team beat Moniteau 12-10 to win the Allegheny River League Pony Championship on July 18. The league consists of 10 teams from Butler and Armstrong counties.
