Woman arrested for public intox at park
PAULLINA—A 31-year-old Waterloo woman was arrested about 9:35 p.m. Thursday, June 27, in Paullina on a charge of public intoxication. The arrest of Amber Nichole Barber stemmed from the Paullina Ambulance being paged to Mill Creek Park for a woman who was described as intoxicated, passing out and hyperventilating, with a possible broken wrist, according to the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.

(Des Moines) According to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Iowa Traffic Fatality Count, there were 27 fewer traffic fatalities on Iowa’s roadways than one year ago.
