Iowa has one of the best state fairs in the country as thousands of people from around the state plan a state fair trip. Some people plan to enjoy the fair for an afternoon and others plan to enjoy the fair for multiple days in a row. AMES, Iowa — Sondra Wilson claims that the state denied her Medicaid coverage for her gender reassignment surgery. Wilson doesn’t have a law degree, but is representing herself in this case. She said she reached out to about 50 different law firms across the state and couldn’t afford any of the quotes she was given.
2 killed, 4 injured in two-vehicle crash in Sioux City
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Sioux City Police say two people have died following a two-vehicle crash that occurred late Sunday night. According to investigators, around 9:13 p.m. Sunday evening, a 2000 Chevrolet truck was traveling at a high rate of speed on W. 3rd St. when it struck a 2008 Volkswagen that was crossing the intersection on Rebecca St.
