The Legendary Joan Jett & the Blackhearts Play Rare Headlining Nashville Show at The Ryman Tonight, Aug. 25
Though she’s played Nashville countless times over the last decade- at Bridgestone Arena in support of Alanis Morissette earlier this summer and in support of Bryan Adams last year; in support of Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Poison at Nissan Stadium in 2022; several shows at Ascend Amphitheater in the 2010s support of artists like Heart and Styx; and a couple more Bridgestone shows with the likes of Journey and The Who- it’s not often that the legendary Joan Jett and her band The Blackhearts makes it to Music City for a proper headliner. In fact, the only time she appears to have done so in the last decade was in 2021, at The Ryman Auditorium, and The Ryman is where she’ll return tonight, Aug. 25, just two months after rocking Bridgestone Arena on that aforementioned Alanis tour.
