A 43-year-old man, Sterling L. Jenkins, is facing multiple charges after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred on Myatt Drive at Roosevelt Avenue, according to Nashville authorities. The collision, which took place Sunday evening, claimed the life of Gregory Torrance Sr., a 65-year-old Nashville resident. Metro Nashville Police Department reports indicate Torrance was crossing the street in an unmarked crosswalk and utilizing a motorized wheelchair when he was struck.

On Jan. 21, 2020, Colleen Ann Hyder’s license to practice law was suspended after failing to pay her 2019 professional privilege tax. On July 19, the court released a statement publicly censuring her for knowingly practicing law after her license had been suspended, according to a news release.
