Storms & Heat Saturday... Another First Alert Weather Day
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY - SATURDAY: A few showers and storms may still be around in the early morning hours. Morning lows will once again be warm ranging from the upper 60s to low 70s. While afternoon highs won’t be as sizzlin’ as Friday, it will still be toasty in the southern Valley and parts of NW MN with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. It will still be humid as well, so we are looking at a heat index in the 90s. Storms will likely develop once again in the afternoon into the evening. There is a chance for storms to be severe with wind gusts to 60 mph and hail up to an inch in diameter. An isolated tornado risk is once again possible as well. Remain weather aware!
Highlights: Kindred, Valley City, Wahpeton, and West Fargo Legion teams advance in Division tournament
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The East Division tournament continued for out Class A Legion Baseball teams on Thursday with the Quarterfinal round of the main bracket. The second and third seed Wahpeton and and West Fargo Aces will meet in the next round, while Kindred and Valley City also advanced.
Several Strong to Severe Storm Chances This Weekend
It is another weekend of back to back to back chances for storms of which some could be on the strong to severe side. Like past weekends there will be a lot of dry hours and some locations won’t see showers or storms. Most chances will come through the evenings and overnight with an exception for Sunday which may start earlier in the afternoon and move into Sunday night.
