Driver Facing Upgraded Charges For Horace Crash
(Horace, ND) — An 18-year-old woman faces upgraded charges in connection with a crash in Horace that hurt several people. It happened last month on County Road 17, where authorities say McKenzie Moser veered into the opposite lane and collided with another car. All three people in the other car were injured, one of whom was airlifted to a hospital. While Moser was initially charged with DUI and DUI refusal, she now faces a criminal vehicular injury charge.

Grand Forks, ND – The Red River Valley is under a heat advisory this afternoon and evening, with temperatures feeling as high as 103 degrees due to the heat index. As the day progresses, the likelihood of thunderstorms will increase, becoming more probable in the evening. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Grand Forks reports a 20% chance of severe thunderstorms today.

Hoax call prompts large police presence in south Fargo neighborhood
FARGO (KFGO) – A fake call prompted a large police presence in south Fargo Friday evening. Fargo Police say an anonymous caller made what’s known as a ‘swatting’ call around 7 p.m. Officers responded to 1360 12th Ave. S. Neighbors told KFGO News that officers were in nearby yards and on the street with rifles aimed at the home in what they said looked like a standoff.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY - SATURDAY: A few showers and storms may still be around in the early morning hours. Morning lows will once again be warm ranging from the upper 60s to low 70s. While afternoon highs won’t be as sizzlin’ as Friday, it will still be toasty in the southern Valley and parts of NW MN with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. It will still be humid as well, so we are looking at a heat index in the 90s. Storms will likely develop once again in the afternoon into the evening. There is a chance for storms to be severe with wind gusts to 60 mph and hail up to an inch in diameter. An isolated tornado risk is once again possible as well. Remain weather aware!
