CUMBERLAND GAP — Austin Franklin led the West Greene Buffaloes to a 40-0 region win on Friday over Cumberland Gap after a historic performance in which he recorded 466 total yards, 314 of them coming on five receptions, which is tied for eighth most receiving yards in a single game in Tennessee state history. HARROGATE — Tusculum University Pioneers played to a 1-1 draw with the Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters in South Atlantic Conference women’s soccer Wednesday afternoon. Wilma Axelsson scored in the 18th minute for the Pioneers (2-5-1, 0-2-1 SAC) and Jade Brown tallied in the 26th minute for the Railsplitters (2-3-2, 1-1-2 SAC).
