Cassell cousins face a grand jury for Churchville shooting charges
AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) - A pair of cousins will have their charges appear in front of a grand jury after a shooting incident in Churchville left two teenagers injured. Isaiah and Matthew Cassell are accused of shooting toward a crowd of people near the intersection of Buffalo Gap Highway and Churchville Avenue on June 22 — leaving a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old with single-wound gunshots in the legs. Both victims survived the incident. In court documents, Isaiah is accused of shooting from the passenger seat of a black Ford Mustang. After shots were fired, Matthew drove away from the scene.
