Temperatures drop below average for most of the rest of the week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good morning NCWV! We are almost through another work week and this frontal system has brought us relief from this heat. It has also brought us some fairly dense fog this early morning, it has since turned less dense and more patchy across NCWV. This fog is dissipating around 9-10AM this morning. There are also a few chances of rain showers in the more mountainous regions especially this morning, however we can’t rule out the possibility of a stray rain shower later this morning and into the afternoon in the lowlands. High temperatures today are going to be a bit below average, only getting into the low to mid 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations. Skies will clear tonight and those conditions continue into Friday, besides a few more rain showers in the mountainous regions. Temperatures will rise a bit on Friday as well, getting into the mid to high 80s in the lowlands and the high 70s in the higher elevations. More rain showers and possible storms are moving throughout NCWV throughout Saturday. This will once again lower our temperatures into the low 80s in the lowlands and the low 70s in the higher elevations.
