Clarksburg VA Memorial Park nearing completion of new pickleball courts
CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) - The Veterans Memorial Park broke ground in March on a new pickleball courts project next to the River Bend miniature golf course. Now, after weather and equipment delays, plans are nearly complete. the funding awarded to the project was just under half a million dollars. Nine permanent concrete pickleball courts and one adjustable court will be available to the community. Clarksburg Parks and Recreation Director, Doug Comer says he’s happy to provide a space for a growing sport.
