    Who are the top Shore Conference blue chip sports recruits? Here's who readers picked

    As we wait for the school year to begin, we are crowning the top Shore Conference blue chip prospects in various sports - with Asbury Park Press / APP.com readers making the choice.

    Some polls are closed, and some are still open for you to vote on, and there will be other votes through the summer. However, here is where you're able to find which student-athletes are considred the top prospects in their respective sports. As more polls close, more names will be added to the list below, so be sure to check back here.

    TOP VOTE-GETTERS

    GIRLS SOCCER

    Top rising senior - Kendall Livingston, Freehold Borough, G, (2,491 votes)

    The goalie for the Colonials had a strong overall performance as a junior with 127 saves last season.

    Runners-up: Shea Richmond, Freehold Borough, M,  (1,799 votes), Brooke Gordon, Marlboro, F, (1,580 votes)

    Top rising junior - Katie Buffalino, St. John Vianney, G, (828 votes)

    Last season she played in five games protecting the net and had 22 saves.

    Runners-up: Alexa Berkley, Jackson Memorial, D-F (689 votes), Leila Shaw, Manalapan, G   (314 votes)

    Top r ising sophomore - Makenzie Memmolo, Howell, F, (968 votes)

    She had a strong showing her freshman year with 12 goals and seven assists for the Rebels.

    Runners-up: Jordyn Bauer, Marlboro, G  (609 votes), Natalie Clifford, Holmdel, G (583 votes)

    BOYS WRESTLING

    Top rising senior - A.J. Falcone, CBA, (9,744 votes)

    Finished his junior year a district champion, region finalist, and a 27-9 record, a top prospect going into next season in the middle weight s.

    Runners-up: Robert Connelly, Red Bank Catholic 42.64% 8,156 and Ryan Walsh, Monmouth 2.29% 438

    Top r ising junior - Kson Young, Brick Memorial (3,783 votes)

    Played a big part in helping the Mustangs win their 18th sectional title this past winter.

    Runners-up: Tyler Oden, Middletown North 2,435, Shawn Retta, Keansburg 1,682

    Top r ising sophomore - Killian Coluccio, CBA (140 votes)

    One of the multiple highlights last season for him was winning the 107-pound championship at the Escape The Rock Tourmament at Council Rock South (Pa.).

    Top runners-up: Sonny Amato, Rumson-Fair Haven (87 votes), Joseph Vezzosi, Donovan Catholic (47 votes)

    Field Hockey

    Top r ising senior - Gianna Urcinole, Central (20,281 votes)

    Last year she had five goals and four assists, expect those numbers to rise this fall.

    Runner-ups: Madeline Mistretta, Brick (9,602 votes), Olivia Nielsen, Pinelands (3,798 votes)

    Top r ising underclassman - Addison Evangeliou, Trinity Hall (24,082 votes)

    The goalie made 201 saves last season for the Monarchs with a season-high 35 saves against Rumson-Fair Haven in the first game.

    Runners-up: Luci Hedden, Ranney (20,062 votes) and Jill Tetzlaff, Toms River North (2,838 votes)
