    R&B queens, indie rockers, emo karaoke and all the 'Shore Things' this weekend

    NEW JERSEY(KYW Newsradio) — Fans of live concerts have a lot to look forward to down the shore this weekend. Some of the biggest acts in '90s R&B are back on the road and hitting Atlantic City together, and longtime indie rock darlings visit Asbury Park's legendary Stone Pony.

    Meanwhile, Mummers favorites return to Wildwood to throw a big "Bash on the Beach and longtime indie rock darlings, while Asbury Lanes offers emo kids the chance to live out their own rock 'n' roll dreams.

    Before all the hot music, though, we're going to start in Wildwood for what's bound to be a very cool night... if you don't mind being covered in foam.

    Foam N' Glow

    Get ready for the "World's Largest Foam Party" on Saturday, July 27. From 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Wildwoods Convention Center , people can enjoy high-energy music, ultraviolet dancers, contortionists, stilt walkers, fire performers, aerial acts, CO2 shows and, of course, the Foam N' Glow Blast.     Rockin’ the Beach at Seaside

    Twisted Ginger will be performing at Rockin' the Beach at Carteret St. Stage on the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights on Sunday, July 28 starting at 5 p.m. Get ready for a unique mix of all your favorite rock songs with a "twist of sax!"

    Two Door Cinema Club at Stone Pony Summer Stage

    Ireland's Two Door Cinema Club have mixed guitar-driven post-punk hooks with dancey, electronic polish to create hits like "Something Good Can Work" and "What You Know" since their formation in 2011. The band takes the Stone Pony's outdoor Summer Stage in Asbury Park on Friday, July 26 with special guests Flipturn . Tickets are available here .

    The Queens of R&B Tour

    R&B fans are in for a total '90s throwback in Atlantic City Saturday night when the Queens of R&B Tour hits Boardwalk Hall . Xscape and SWV bring the soul with songs like "Who Can I Run To" and "Weak." Mya , 702 and Total round out the lineup for a night of vocal pyrotechnics and unbridled emotion. Tickets are available starting at $58.

    Quaker City’s Bash at the Beach

    The winningest string band in the annals of the Mummers gets the party going in Wildwood on Sunday. It's the annual Quaker City Bash at the Beach , featuring the Quaker City String Band and the Marquee Trio ! The party starts at 1 p.m. on the boardwalk at Seaport Pier . Admission is available with a $25 donation, which also includes a BBQ buffet, sodas and drink specials.

    Asbury Lanes ‘Emo Night’ Karaoke

    Break out the eyeliner and skinny jeans. Asbury Park 's iconic Asbury Lanes hosts "Emo Night" karaoke on Friday. Want to belt your favorite Paramore, Jimmy Eat World and My Chemical Romance songs? You'll get to do it with a live band that includes members of Hotel Books , Freshman 15 , Just Surrender , Weatherbox , and Thieves and Villains . Tickets are $15.
