Arkansas standoff ends with suspect dead after exchange of gunfire with law enforcement
DEVALLS BLUFF, Ark. (AP) — A 32-year-old Little Rock, Arkansas, man is dead after an exchange of gunfire Thursday with Arkansas State Police’s SWAT team. The man, who was wanted on multiple felony warrants out of Little Rock, Sherwood and Pulaski County, barricaded himself inside a home in DeValls Bluff at about 9:30 a.m. and began firing at law enforcement, including state troopers and U.S. Marshals, state police said in a statement.
