    Workforce Woes Deepen in Georgia: With More Job Cuts

    From Tech to Manufacturing: Georgia Feels the Sting of Diverse Industry Cutbacks

    Unfortunately, the layoffs continue in Georgia, with another business announcing mass layoffs.

    Under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, employers with more than 100 full-time workers must provide a 60-day notice before laying off 50 or more employees at a single site. This week, Panera lodged a notice have been with the Georgia Department of Labor advising that 86 staff have been laid off.

    Recent Job Cuts in Georgia:

    This continues a series of mass layoffs that have impacted Georgia in recent weeks.

    Major employers such as HelloFresh, Raven Transport Holding, Wellpath LLC, Club Chef SE LLC, Sage Automotive Interiors, Aludyne, Bionano Genomics, and Hollingsworth have also significantly reduced their workforces in recent months.
