Texas Lottery Fever: Two Players Score Big in Separate Scratch-Off Wins

Lady Luck recently smiled on two Texans who struck gold in separate scratch-off lottery games. In Laredo, a fortunate resident transformed a $50 investment into a million-dollar windfall playing the 500X game. The winning ticket was purchased at Love's Travel Stop on Pinnacle Road.

Meanwhile, eight hours away in Longview, another player hit the jackpot in the "$1,000,000 Lucky 7" game. This East Texan, who chose to remain anonymous, bought their lucky ticket at the Fast Food Convenience Store on S Eastman Road.

These wins contribute to the Texas Lottery's impressive track record. Since its inception in 1992, the lottery has generated over $39 billion in state revenue and awarded more than $88 billion in prizes. Notably, it has funneled over $33.7 billion into the Foundation School Fund since 1997, supporting public education across the Lone Star State.
