    Numerous roads closed across Ashe County

    ASHE COUNTY — As rain continues to fall and wind speeds start to increase, more roads across Ashe County are either currently closed due to flooding or trees across the road.

    As of 10:15 p.m., the following roads in Ashe County are closed or impassable:

    Brown Road (SR-1104) near Jefferson, both directions

    New River Bridge Road (SR-1105) near Jefferson, both directions

    Kings Creek Road (SR-1308) near the Virginia State Line, both directions

    Ray Davis Road (SR-1525) near the Virginia State Line, both directions

    Silas Creek Road (SR-1523) near the Virginia State Line, both directions

    Helton Road (SR-1527) near the Virginia State Line, both directions

    Jim Duvall Road (SR-1528) near the Virginia State Line, both directions

    Big Helton Road (SR-1536) near the Virginia State Line, both directions

    North Fulton Reeves Road (SR-1602) near Laurel Springs, both directions

    Ed Little Road (SR-1126) near Creston, both directions

    Lue Jones Road (SR-1343) near Warrensville, both directions

    Campbell Road (SR-1351) near Warrensville, both directions

    Carter Miller Road (SR-1115) near Todd, southbound lane closed

    Carl Atwood Road (SR-1600) near Laurel Springs, both directions

    Double Springs Church Road (SR-1606) near Laurel Springs, both directions

    Upper Cranberry Creek Road (SR-1609) near Laurel Springs, both directions

    Tony Miller Road (SR-1613) near Laurel Springs, both directions

    McNeil Road (SR-1644) near Lansing, both directions

    Clifton Road (SR-1563) near Crumpler, both directions

    Boggs Road (SR-1159) near West Jefferson, both directions

    Methodist Camp Road (SR-1222) near West Jefferson, both directions

    Additional roads that are flooded according to information provided by Ashe County Emergency Management include: Absher Road, Bare Creek Road, Bill Bledsoe Road, Bill Cooper Road, Burgess Road, Cox Road, Daniels Daughter off Highway 163, 800 block of Denny Road, Dishman Severt Road, East Mill Creek Road, Edna Perry Road, Ellis Road, 600 block of Farmer Store Road, Fred Pugh Road, Fred Sheets Road, Garvey Bridge Road, Grassy Creek Road, Green Meadows Drive, Harold Dancy Drive, Hartzog Ford Road, Jake Roland Road, NC Highway 88 and Low Gap Road intersection, Ola Long Road, Philmore Miller Road off of Boggs Road, Railroad Grade Road, Railroad Grade Green Meadows Subdivision, River Bend Hills Subdivision, River Drive, Rustic Acres Road, Shallow Ford Road, Silas Creek Bent River Estates Subdivision, Soup Bean Branch Road bridge, Stanley Road, U.S. Highway 221 Business, Wagoner Access Road, Wayne Arnold Road bridge, Willie Brown Road, Woodstown Road.
