Grove Park Inn remains closed almost one month after Helene dropped torrential rain and damaging floods across western North Carolina.

The Hotel announced it was closed on Sep. 29 and was not accepting new reservations. As of Oct. 17, the hotel is still closed, but progress to reopening has been made.

According to a statement from OMNI, power and internet have been restored. Water has been partially restored. Debris is still being cleared from the golf course and there is a team addressing minor flooding in the area.

The statement said reopening safely and quickly is the priority, and they hope to open to guests again soon.

"We are deeply grateful to our associates, partners, and first responders for their support during this time," OMNI said.
