A 12-year-old boy was injured when he was caught in crossfire at a west Birmingham home. The shooting happened just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The boy is expected to recover. Wildlife Professionals Tracking First Black Bear Confirmed in Tuscaloosa
Wildlife experts are in West Alabama working to track what may be the first-ever black bear to be confirmed in the city of Tuscaloosa. City Council President Kip Tyner shared the news on social media late Friday night and said a black bear cub was spotted and caught on security cameras in the Oak Chase neighborhood in North Tuscaloosa before dawn that morning.
