    An old time Ashland musical program was held at the Bohemian Hall. Many of the performers are area students of Mrs. Charles Vocelka.

    1924Gasoline prices took a drop today of a cent, dropping the price to 19 cents a gallon.

    1924A Rochester firm will install the new “Ashland White Way” along our business district on Second Street for $27.667.

    1954

    Paul Penn, 1954 AHS graduate, successfully passed an audition with the 5th Army Band. He was assured a position in the band if he enlisted in the army in the near future and if there were any openings.

    1954The Daily Press was advertising two Special Centennial Editions to send to your friends, the invitation and the program edition will be loaded with photos and history and will cost only 25 cents.
