The Northland College LumberJills volleyball team earned the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award announced on July 17. Northland was also named to the Honor Roll for having a team GPA in the top 20 percent of all NCAA D3 volleyball teams. To earn the AVCA Team Academic Award the program must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.3/4.0. This is the first time since 2015 that Northland has won this award and the second time in program history. At the end of the 2023-24 academic year the ‘Jills finished with a whopping 3.73/4.0 GPA, thus earning the major distinction of AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll. This is the first team in program history to earn this honor.
