Pet of the week

A fresh arrival at the Chequamegon Humane Association, Bubba is a so incredibly thankful to be with us. We are working on some skin issues at the vet today and he is being altered as well. He is in foster care with other dogs, cats a a bunny and is doing well. He has a few quirks to work through, possibly slightly food and toy possessive with other dogs. We think once he learns how wonderful life is when your ears and skin don’t hurt, he may relax a bit. He is good with children but is very bouncy, excited and jumpy with them so we do not recommend a home with children under 12 yrs old. He knows how to sit, shake and lay down on command. He enjoys a crate in the home and is housebroken for the most part. He walks ok on a leash but will pull you around if allowed to. He should be in a home that can set physical boundaries for him like not allowing him to jump, which he loves to do!
