The public is invited to attend a poetry reading at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13, at Drummond Public Library and Historical Museum.

Audience members first will be invited to share one or two short poems on any theme. Then regional poets published in the 2025 Wisconsin Poets (Desk) Calendar will read their works. Nancy Austin (Hazelhurst), Gary Banker (Superior), Jan Chronister (Maple), Andreé Graveley (Minocqua), Nancy Jean Larson (Drummond), Diana Randolph (Drummond), Timothy Sheldon (Hayward), Peggy Trojan (Brule), and Lucy Tyrrell (Bayfield) of Northwest Wisconsin were invited to be featured poets.

This is the 39th year of publication by Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets. The theme for the new calendar is “Shine.” The editors were Jeanie Tomasko, Linda Voit and Beth Ann Workmaster. Sharon Auberle of Door County created the art works for the calendar.

Refreshments will be served following the readings. Calendars, poetry books and poetry note cards will be available for purchase.

For more information, please contact the event coordinator Diana Randolph at (715) 798-3619.
