Higbee woman pleads guilty in federal court to embezzling more than $2-million from employer
A Randolph County woman pleads guilty in federal court to embezzling more than $2-million dollars from her employer in neighboring Howard County over a 15-year period. Megan Dougherty, 36, of Higbee, pleaded guilty to one count of bank fraud on Thursday. As part of her plea, she also agreed to forfeit her interest in nine parcels of real estate in Howard County, as well as $2,393,288.
