HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Ashland Police Department issued an alert on Saturday evening seeking public help to locate a 70-year-old woman in Ashland.

According to the department, 70-year-old Marie Horton was reported missing at around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, and her last known location was in the 400 block of South Washington Highway (Route 1) at around 3:30 p.m.

Pictured above, Horton is described as a white woman, standing at five feet seven inches tall, with blue eyes and gray hair. She has tattoos of a breast cancer survivor ribbon on her left arm and a Tasmanian Devil on her right arm. She was last seen wearing the outfit pictured in the photo to the right — an orange and purple top and black pants.

No foul play is suspected at this point in the investigation, but the family and the department are concerned for her well-being.

Anyone with information regarding Horton’s location is urged to call the Ashland Police Department at 804-365-6140.
